Construction

The fabric

170 GSM European linen, medium weight. Cool in summer, warm in winter, naturally breathable. The flax is European; the cut and sew is Latvian.

Care

Wash before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. The sheet is cut 3–5% oversized to absorb the natural shrinkage of linen; it settles to nominal size after 1–2 cold washes. For ongoing care, machine wash at 40 °C (104 °F) on a delicate cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach. Ironing is not necessary; linen carries a soft crease naturally.

Certification and origin

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified — the fabric and thread are tested for substances that affect skin and lungs. The linen is European; the cut and sew is Latvian. No subcontracting.

Common questions

Should I wash this before first use?
Yes. New linen should always be washed before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. The sheet ships oversized and settles to nominal size after 1–2 cold washes.

Does linen shrink?
Yes — natural fibers shrink. Expect 3–5%. This sheet is cut oversized to absorb that, so the final fit matches the size you ordered.

Will it fit my mattress?
Deep-pocket cut accommodates most modern mattresses. Check the size selector for the exact depth — match the depth to your mattress, not just the length and width.
