The fabric

100% linen at 170 GSM, European, the same panel used in our white and oatmeal bedding. Naturally absorbent, releases stains readily in the wash. The flax is European; the cut and sew is Latvian.

Care

Wash before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. Cut 3–5% oversized; settles after 1–2 cold washes. Ongoing care at 40 °C. Oxygen bleach safe for white linen; no chlorine bleach. Iron damp for a crisp finish if desired. Full instructions: linen care guide.

Why linen napkins?

• Absorbent: they pick up spills quickly and release stains in the wash.
• Durable: flax is the strongest natural fiber; linen is stronger wet than dry, so frequent washing is not a problem.
• Softens with use: every wash makes the napkin softer and more absorbent.
• Reusable: one set replaces a steady stream of paper napkins.
• Easy care: machine wash at 40 °C; iron damp for a crisp finish, or not at all.
