Linen Bedding

The fabric

100% linen at 170 GSM, European, medium weight. Breathable in summer, warm in winter. The flax is European; the cut and sew is Latvian. No subcontracting. The stonewashed duvet covers are the same linen at 170 or 200 GSM depending on the color. More on this: linen bedding made in Latvia.

Colors

White and oatmeal across the whole line, both in the same raw cloth. Oatmeal is a mélange rather than a dyed beige — a bleached white yarn woven together with a gray one — which is why it reads warmer under a lamp and cooler in daylight: what color is oatmeal linen. Duvet covers add fourteen stonewashed colors, dyed through the cloth and soft on the first night.

Construction

Hidden-button closures on duvet covers, deep-pocket fitted sheets, generous flat sheets. Pillowcases in housewife, oxford, and ruffled styles. Bed skirts tailored, not gathered.

Sizes

EU and UK (200×200, 200×220, 240×220, 260×220 cm), US (Twin, Full, Queen, King, California King) and AU quilt-cover sizes. Every size we cut is in the linen size guide.

Care

Wash before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. Raw linen is cut 3–5% oversized and settles to nominal size after 1–2 cold washes; the stonewashed covers are washed before cutting and keep the size on the label. Ongoing care at 40 °C (104 °F). Oxygen bleach is safe for white linen; do not bleach oatmeal or the stonewashed colors, and never use chlorine bleach on any of them. Full instructions: linen care guide.
