LinenOwl is a family workshop near Riga, Latvia. We have been making linen bedding for more than 20 years, and since 2014 we have sold it worldwide through our Etsy shop, linencomfort. More than 10,000 homes across the US and EU use our bedding and napkins.
What we make
Duvet covers, fitted and flat sheets, sheet sets, pillowcases, bed skirts and napkins — in two colors: white (bleached to a clean white, never clinical) and oatmeal (a mélange of bleached white warp and gray weft). All of it in the same 170 GSM medium-weight European linen.
How it is made
The flax is European. Every piece is cut and sewn in our own workshop — not subcontracted, not relabelled from elsewhere. Items are made to order and cut 3–5% oversized to absorb the natural shrinkage of linen, so they settle to their listed size after the first washes. Certification
The fabric and the sewing thread are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — tested for substances that affect skin and lungs.
