Table Linen

The fabric

170 GSM European linen, the same medium-weight panel used in our bedding. The flax is European; the cut and sew is Latvian.

Care

Linen napkins absorb spills and release them in the wash. Cold water for the first 1–2 washes; ongoing at 40 °C (104 °F). Oxygen bleach safe for white linen; no chlorine bleach. Full instructions: linen care guide.

Certification

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — fabric and thread tested for substances that affect skin and lungs.

Why linen on the table?

• Absorbent: linen picks up spills quickly and releases stains in the wash.
• Durable: flax is the strongest natural fiber — linen table pieces stand up to frequent washing.
• Softens with use: every wash makes the fabric softer and more absorbent.
• Easy care: machine wash at 40 °C; iron damp for a crisp finish, or skip ironing entirely.

Currently napkins in white and oatmeal — tablecloths and runners are in production.
