An oatmeal linen sheet set in 100% linen at 170 GSM.
What's in the set
Set composition varies by size — the size selector above lists the exact pieces included (fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillowcases).
Why an oatmeal set is worth buying as a set
Oatmeal is a mélange — bleached white warp against a gray weft — and slight variation between production batches is normal for it. Every piece in one set is cut from the same panel, so they match now and stay matched: they soften together and reach the same tone at the same time. Pieces bought months apart can differ very slightly, which nobody notices on a duvet cover and everybody notices on a pillowcase next to a flat sheet.
Inside the set you still choose: pocket depth of 10, 14, 18 or 22 inches, and the pillowcase style — housewife, Oxford or ruffled. What is in a set varies by size, so the selector above is the only place that lists it exactly. US sizes; the size guide converts them.
The fabric
100% linen at 170 GSM, European, medium weight, the same panel across every piece in the set.
Care
Wash before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. The set is cut 3–5% oversized to absorb the natural shrinkage of linen; it settles to nominal size after 1–2 cold washes. For ongoing care, machine wash at 40 °C (104 °F) on a delicate cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach. Ironing is not necessary; linen carries a soft crease naturally. Full details: linen care guide.
Certification and origin
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified — the fabric and thread are tested for substances that affect skin and lungs. The flax is European; every piece is cut and sewn in our own workshop near Riga, Latvia — not subcontracted, not relabelled from elsewhere.
Common questions
Should I wash this before first use?
Yes. New linen should always be washed before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. The set ships oversized and settles to nominal size after 1–2 cold washes.
Does linen shrink?
Yes — natural fibers shrink. Expect 3–5%. This set is cut oversized to absorb that, so the final fit matches the size you ordered.
What shade is oatmeal — will it fade or vary?
Oatmeal is a mélange: bleached white warp threads woven with a gray weft, giving a soft heathered tone. Slight color variation between batches is normal for mélange linen. The color does not fade with normal care.
