Oatmeal Linen Pillowcases

Linen pillowcases in white and oatmeal, across five styles.

Styles. Housewife (clean rectangle, envelope back), oxford (flat 4 cm border), ruffle (single 6 cm ruffle on one side), frilled (continuous frill), doubled ruffle (decorative dual frill). All in the same 170 GSM linen.

The fabric. 170 GSM European linen, medium weight. Soft against skin after the first wash and softer with every subsequent one. The flax is European; the cut and sew is Latvian.

Sizes. Standard EU and US pillow sizes — see the size selector on each product.

Care. Wash before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. Cut 3–5% oversized; settles after 1–2 cold washes. Ongoing care at 40 °C. Oxygen bleach safe for white linen; no chlorine bleach.

Certification. OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Oatmeal linen pillowcases from LinenOwl. Five construction styles, all in 170 GSM European linen, cut and sewn in our workshop near Riga. The oatmeal tone is undyed — slight batch-to-batch colour variation is normal.

Styles available:

  • Housewife — clean rectangle, envelope closure, no border
  • Oxford — flat 5 cm / 2 in flange on all four sides (listed size is the inner sham; flange extends beyond)
  • Ruffle — single ruffle ~6 in / 15 cm on one open side (listed size does not include the ruffle)
  • Frilled — continuous frill ~3 in / 7.5 cm around all four sides
  • Doubled Ruffle — two ruffles on one open side, ~1 in / 2.5 cm and ~6 in / 15 cm (listed size does not include the ruffles)

Care. Wash before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. Settles after 1–2 cold washes. Ongoing care at 40 °C. Cut 3–5% oversized. Do not bleach. Iron damp if desired.
