Oatmeal Linen Pillowcases
Linen pillowcases in five styles — sold elsewhere as pillow covers or pillow cases, the same item under a different name. White and oatmeal across all five; the ruffle and housewife styles also come in fourteen stonewashed colors.

- Color: Oatmeal
Oatmeal linen pillowcases from LinenOwl. Five construction styles, all in 100% linen at 170 GSM, European, cut and sewn in our workshop near Riga. The oatmeal is a mélange — bleached white warp, gray weft — so slight batch-to-batch color variation is normal.
Styles available:
- Housewife — clean rectangle, envelope closure, no border
- Oxford — flat 5 cm / 2 in flange on all four sides (the listed size is the pillow itself; the flange extends beyond it)
- Ruffle — single ruffle ~6 in / 15 cm on one open side (listed size does not include the ruffle)
- Frilled — continuous frill ~3 in / 7.5 cm around all four sides
- Doubled Ruffle — two ruffles on one open side, ~1 in / 2.5 cm and ~6 in / 15 cm (listed size does not include the ruffles)
Where oatmeal is actually seen. A pillowcase sits at eye level, next to a face, against whatever color the duvet cover is — so of all the pieces on a bed it is the one where the mélange does the most work. Against a white cover it reads as a warm line across the head of the bed; against an oatmeal cover the two pick up light differently and the bed stops looking flat. On the three gathered styles the effect is stronger still, because folds shade a two-yarn cloth in a way they cannot shade a dyed one. Buy them with the cover if the two are meant to match exactly — a mélange varies slightly between batches. Housewife against Oxford covers the two plain styles.
