The color
Sky Blue is a pale cool blue. The shade is dyed into the linen rather than printed on it, so the color runs through the cloth and reads the same on both faces. Linen takes dye unevenly by nature and the stonewash lifts that further: expect slight variation across a large panel and between batches. That variation is the fabric, not a fault.
Ordered by the duvet, not by the bed
A duvet cover has to match the duvet inside it, and duvets do not agree across countries - which is why the selector carries 22 named sizes across UK/EU, US and Australian beds and then a custom option on top of them. Custom takes a width and a length outright, in centimeters or inches, because a duvet that fits nobody's chart still needs a cover. Closure is hidden buttons at the foot; ties at the inner corners are made on request if your duvet slides inside its cover.
The size guide has the named sizes side by side - worth two minutes, because "king" means seven different covers depending on where the bed was bought.
The fabric
The cloth is 100% linen, stonewashed. 200 GSM sits at the heavier end of the medium-weight range - more body in the drape, more presence on the bed, still breathable through summer.
Stonewashing is why the cover arrives already soft - the cloth is washed before it reaches you, so there is no break-in period and no starched hand on the first night. The surface stays matte and the drape falls relaxed rather than crisp. What the word covers and what it does not: what is stonewashed linen.
It is also why this cover does not shrink. The washing happens to the cloth before anything is cut, so the shrinking is already done: the size on the label is the size it stays. Our raw linen is different - that cloth is cut oversized to absorb 3-5% of shrinkage in its first washes.
How it changes
Linen softens with use. Stonewashed linen starts further along that curve and keeps going: after several washes the drape loosens again and the surface develops a slight texture.
Care
Wash before first use - cold, delicate, with like colors. After that, 40 °C on a delicate cycle, tumble dry low, no bleach of any kind. Everything else, including what to do about a stain: linen care guide.

Common questions
Will the color fade?
Wash cold or warm, not hot, and dry on low. Strong sun and hot water are what pull color out of any dyed natural fiber; normal machine washing at 40 °C does not.
