A white linen fitted sheet in 100% linen at 170 GSM.
Construction
Elasticated all the way around for a snug fit. Deep-pocket cut — see the size selector for the depth that matches your mattress. Reinforced corner seams.
Getting the depth right
A fitted sheet is the one piece of bedding that either fits or does not, and the number that decides it is the pocket depth, not the mattress size. We cut from 8 to 22 inches — 20 to 55 cm — because mattresses have grown and a sheet made for a 10 in mattress will not stay on a 16 in one with a topper on top.
Measure your mattress with the topper in place, then take the next depth up: a little slack tucks away, a shortfall pulls the corner off in the night. The elastic runs the whole way round rather than only at the corners, and the corner seams are reinforced because that is where the pull is. Sizes for US, EU and Australian beds are all in the selector, and the size guide converts between them.
The fabric
100% linen at 170 GSM, European, medium weight. Cool in summer, warm in winter, naturally breathable.
Care
Wash before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. The sheet is cut 3–5% oversized to absorb the natural shrinkage of linen; it settles to nominal size after 1–2 cold washes. For ongoing care, machine wash at 40 °C (104 °F) on a delicate cycle. Tumble dry low. Oxygen bleach is safe for white linen; do not use chlorine bleach. Ironing is not necessary; linen carries a soft crease naturally. Full details: linen care guide.
Certification and origin
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified — the fabric and thread are tested for substances that affect skin and lungs. The flax is European; every piece is cut and sewn in our own workshop near Riga, Latvia — not subcontracted, not relabelled from elsewhere.
Common questions
Should I wash this before first use?
Yes. New linen should always be washed before first use — cold water, delicate cycle. The sheet ships oversized and settles to nominal size after 1–2 cold washes.
Does linen shrink?
Yes — natural fibers shrink. Expect 3–5%. This sheet is cut oversized to absorb that, so the final fit matches the size you ordered.
Does white linen yellow over time?
Not with normal care. White linen yellows when stored damp or when bleached with chlorine. Wash, dry fully, store dry. Oxygen bleach is safe for occasional brightening.
Will it fit my mattress?
Deep-pocket cut accommodates most modern mattresses. Check the size selector for the exact depth — match the depth to your mattress, not just the length and width.
